Portraits and paintings

These are paintings mainly from local markets in the South West of France.

Some are found at the big Braderies at Lille, Amiens, Creve-Coeur and others. A few items are bought at auction.

The search is endless and - by its very nature - good antique stock is becoming rarer and harder to find. Canvas fades and tears, paint dries and flakes, frames warp and crack, but quality is still out there if one knows where to look.
